ABOUT ME
HI! I'm Chelsey
I’m originally from the Plattsburgh NY area. I moved to Chaumont NY in 2020 with my 3 kiddos & my husband. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for about 5 years now. I am passionate about women’s health, birth, & serving others.
This passion motivated me to become a Birth Doula to support women with childbirth education and hands on comfort measures during labor and birth.
I am a Certified Nutrition Consultant specializing in Fertility, Pregnancy, and (soon) Postpartum women's health. This includes diet, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations. This education was through Oh Baby School of Holistic Nutrition - the only program in the world that centers on the specific nutritional support for these stages of a woman’s life.
Additionally, I am a 200hr Certified Yoga Teacher through Driftwood Yoga in 2021.

These skills and life experience allow me to address pregnancy and birth from all angles and at any point in the journey, providing whole-body support.
My goal is to be a pregnancy resource for women and families in Jefferson, St. Lawrence, and Lewis counties.
My long-term vision for The Northern Nest is to create a place, maybe even a physical location some day, specifically for women and mothers of the Watertown NY, Fort Drum, and Thousand Islands area to gather, learn, and connect.
